Calls are received at the Cadillac Area Silent Observer tip line call center. This phone is a stand alone instrument which does not provide caller ID, and conversations are not recorded. The call center operator receiving the information completes the tip information form, makes initial inquiries and then passes the information to the investigating officer. Calls are accepted regarding any publicized request for information, such as the “Most Wanted List” or other crime(s) the caller has knowledge of.
By guaranteeing a caller’s anonymity Silent Observer allows the caller to give information in a positive atmosphere without the prospect of retribution. By offering cash rewards for information leading to indictment or arrests, the program encourages otherwise reluctant callers to provide information. Call 800-528-8234 to submit a tip.

Our regional office supports community walk-ins and also provides education to the community on the Silent Observer Program. Any community member can make presentation requests which can be held at our location or another suitable location by filling out the general inquires form below or giving us a phone call.
