Individuals who deliberately fail to follow legal procedures after they commit a crime usually meet the criteria as a “Wanted Subject”. It is much better for the individual to follow “Due Process” (legal proceedings that are conducted fairly and in accordance with established rules and principles and that individuals be treated fairly) instead of avoiding further legal system consequences. When individuals decide not to accept responsibility for their actions, they are considered fugitives and can be placed on a “Most Wanted List”.
Silent Observer displays some select “Most Wanted” subjects monthly on the Silent Observer website, Silent Observer Facebook and in the Cadillac News. Furthermore, Silent Observer displays “Most Wanted” subjects every 2 to 3 weeks within select locations in Missaukee, Osceola and Wexford counties on Silent Observer’s recent Most Wanted digital scrolling sign trailer. This sign trailer has been effective in the apprehension of many criminals.
Silent Observer exists to provide the community anonymous ways to record and report criminal/suspicious activities. Many criminals chose not to be responsible and can victimize many innocent people creating a negative domino effect.
Please use Silent Observer when you observe suspicious activity, possible abuse or knowledge of wanted suspects. Your anonymous tip can make a tremendous difference for everyone. We are only as safe as the communities around us.
Remember to use 911 for all crimes in progress.
